The Owners

James & Terrina Kober

James & Terrina Kober purchased The Ham Barbers (formerly Murray’s) on January 15, 2019.

James grew up in Ham and remembers going to this very shop with his Grandma many moons ago when it was the local sweet shop!

When The Kobers found out that the shop was up for sale in late 2018, they were distraught and wanted to make sure that the barbers didn’t change as they loved the atmosphere and felt it was very much a community driven shop.

Both James and Terrina, along with their children, were all customers at Murray’s and did not want to lose their favourite barbers Kelly and Claire so they decided to buy the shop!

James and Terrina are very active in the community as tennis coaches in the local schools and James is the Head Tennis Professional at Ham & Petersham LTC where Terrina assists him.

Since taking over in January, The Ham Barbers has had some exciting upgrades both on the interior and exterior of the building and some new, cutting edge services.
